SHU Student Sky Dives for Cancer!

SHU Student and cancer survivor Caitilin Carroll and her boyfriend Robbie are completing a charity skydive for CLIC Sargant and the Teenage Cancer Trust this June.

The pair will be performing the dive only two days after her 21 st Birthday, on the 23 rd of June. Caitilin is calling their jump the ‘Summer Solstice Sky Dive’, as she’s chosen this date thanks to her being a ‘summer solstice baby’.

Caitilin said that her reason for choosing CLIC Sargant and the Teenage Cancer Trust is
thanks to the ‘vital’ support they offered her during her treatment, and in helping her cope with life after cancer. Both organisations are charities that fight against cancer destroying the lives of children and young people.
